72nd and Scott Road traffic cam video
This incredible video of a speeding car running a red light and three lanes of traffic was apparently taken at the intersection of 72nd and Scott Rd in Surrey British Columbia. Anyone think it's a fake? Notice the flash from the traffic camera as the offending car enters the intersection.

It must be a fake because I live close to that intersection and there is a McDonalds...but it's two blocks south of this location..not on the corner. It says that its looking north...well, at that location when you look north you see Mountains. There is not one location is Delta, Surrey or Langley where that intersection fits. Each of the cross streets have FOUR lanes (not including turning lanes)..and even though Scott Road has 4 McDonalds on it..not one is at a location with BOTH streets have four lanes. It also states that its a VPD camera...why on earth would the VPD do something in Delta (with their own police force) or in Surrey who has the RCMP...makes no sense!

Interesting... but where in the clip does it say VPD? All I see is SA WEHA 01.

Carlos is correct, this is in Santa Ana on the corner of Westminster & Harbor. It happaned at around 7am, I actually made a right turn a few minutes after it happened, I noticed a chunk of bumper on the street. My co-worker, who is driving the green truck behind the white camaro at the end of the video saw the whole thing from a different angle. Amazing!
