Anthony Lane's review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

Sounds like a real lucasuckfest. It's open season on George and sadly, as much as I dislike the last two films (not including battle scene in Attack of the Clones) I'll still be giving him my 1,700 yen if only to be on the same page when I read reviews like this.

Poor George Lucas. He was seduced by the dark side of Hollywood; he ceased to be George Lucas, and became CEO of Lucasfilm Ltd.
When that happened, the good man who created Star Wars was destroyed. He's more machine now than man; twisted and evil.

I tend to gravitate to the onion's AV Club for movie reviews, and the Revenge of the Sith review was an interesting article. I can't wait to see it.

I saw it last night. It was so awesome. I will probably go see it a couple more times in the theater. I thought the first 2 prequels were bad, but this one pretty much redeems George. Not that I will watch Episode I again... hehe

Episode III is almost enough to make you forget the embarrassment that was the other prequels!
