The question she turned over to her brains (lifelines) was, "Where was John Lennon killed?" and the choices were Liverpool, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. I figured that was common knowledge, but I guess my perception of common knowledge is slightly distorted. If you want the video (40MB Quicktime) choose from the following.

unfortunately I can't download the torrent....my client just says "connecting" and doesn't go on from there
(and no offense to your friend (or wife's friend) but was that question the 100 yen question? I mean, especially with the Yoko Ono connection that question seems a no-brainer....)

i'm glad i didn't have to watch that live, with such a gimme question I would have been so frustrated having to endure Monta's Philbin-isms esp with how they do their commercials (they couldn't have picked a better dead ringer for Regis though)....
was that a pacifier Frankie was wearing? years from now she's gonna hate that she was on national tv with that in her mouth :)

No offense taken, like I said I thought it was common knowledge. Actually if you listen closely you can hear Masako say New York, but the clock ran out before they got a chance. Honestly I think the majority of questions on that show are in the 100-500 yen range. Not exactly Jeopardy.
My tracker lists 2 people seeding the file so that's odd. And I can see from my client that one other person's downloaded it without any issues so I'm scratching my head. If you don't mind could you help me troubleshoot and keep the torrent connecting over night?

Yeah she was chewing on a pacifier for a bit there. They had to sit in front of a tv camera for two hours and not knowing what clips the show may use Masako needed every tool at her disposal to keep Fran content.
