had a great saturday meeting with some members of the japan photography mailing list in shinjuku for the monthly shoot. wish I came to their first 2 outings.

great to finally meet you at the shinjuku photo shoot (meant to reply to your comment on my site but didn't get around to it)....
the shot of your wife and daughter is quite nice (and I must say, in a certain way your daughter looks strangely like my son a few months ago :) ... what focal length lens is on that Holga? sharper than I would have expected, with less distortion, and nice DOF; and what scanner are you using to scan these negs in, just curious.

thanks Kurt. the photo of Masako and frankie on the steps was taken with a lomo lc-a, the one I had at the photo shoot in Shinjuku. I don't own a holga. The scanner is some old thing in our stockroom I set up to scan my lomos, epson es-2200. It's not ment for scanning negitives, I was just experimenting to see what it looked like.
