Frances Shiori Hegge

Posted on July 02, 2003

Our daughter Frances Shiori Hegge was born today at 6:52pm and weighing in at 3,100g or 6.8 lbs. Masako is recovering quickly and most of all Frances is healthy, full of energy and really, really cute. I am very tired so I will just let the photos speak for themselves.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! She is so beautiful! I am so happy for you! Love the pics !

everyone thanks for your comments! Masako and Frances will be coming home on Monday so the only photos I can get before then are going to be through the nursery glass.

Congratulations! I'm a newcomer, and I enjoyed a lot visiting Your great site! I can't hide my envy for such a wonderful dream coming true (living in Japan, with a beautiful woman, and now the greatest gift: a baby! ).
Thank to Your site (and the other blogs listed) I feel a bit less far from Japan!!
I really wish You the best things in the world!!

Congrats.

Our daughter was born couple of days before yours. I also moblogged a picture - managed it 40 minutes after she was born. Take a look at http://www.srparker.co.uk/archives/000036.html Amazing how this technology can really affect peoples lives.

Wow, thanks for the comments guys! It's a great feeling knowing that people you don't even know read you site let alone comment. Simon, it is incredible what we can do with our phones isn't it! I sent my blog up at 7:09pm and she was born at 6:52pm and at 7:20 started getting congrats via email from friends and family that were constantly refreshing the page to check for news.

mark-
congratulations. seeing the pictures brought a tear to my eye. I remember so well when I was in the position you are in now, just 3 1/2 months ago. if I may, I'll pass on some advice that someone else passed on to me from that time: while everyone will rightfully be cooing over Frances, it's your job to take care of Masako.
